Mimicking the sculptural form of an aircraft, the Karaj Aeron Aqua Park captures the unlikely mix between housing retail and leisure zones, such as a water park and ice rink, to deliver a highly sought-after commercial structure.

Ilaf worked alongside Atkins as their local consultant, creating the first major mixed-use retail mall in the city of Tehran. This project became a strong symbol of tourism, also becoming a focus point of the Iranian business sector.

The ‘Aeron’ pulls visiting eyes skywards with its complex interior architecture, with dramatic structural wings that flow seamlessly into tail fins that hold up ‘sky pods.’ These ‘sky pods’ offer visitors an incomparable dining experience as they eat ski-high.
